On the 9 of January 2024 I took a taxi from vryburg taxi rank to Johannesburg. The taxi I got at the rank is written Bra B on top. The driver decided to take a different route than the one vryburg-Johannesburg taxis take (N12) I informed the driver that I will be getting off at Base5 crossing on the N12 just before the 2 Sasol garages. Driver said he'll put me in the taxi back. We got to parkstation and I informed him I dont know my way around hence I wanted to get off at N12. He said he has people he work with who'll take me to bree taxi rank so I can find taxis. He asked 2 guys to accompany us and the other few ladies. It was around 8pm. On he way to bree, the two guys decided to rob us of all our monies and phones. Pointing me with a knife. Lucky they didn't hurt me.
