Toucan Material and Wool established in 1996 in Standerton is a family business and is operating since 2005 in Mossel Bay on the Garden Route.

SERVICES

Toucan supplies our customers with the widest range of products and the best in friendly service. The shop (with a floor space of 2500 square meters stocks) stocks a wide range of materials, wool and haberdashery for various uses as well as arts and crafts items. If we don’t have what you want, we will try to get it.

Many of our clients in the Garden Route visit our material and wool shop on a regularly basis as we are getting a constant flow of new stock every week. The wool section is packed with various types and colours wool including Saprotex (Elle), Fancy Yarns, Vinni’s, Lollipop, Nako and Kartapo all the way from Turkey and many more as well as knitting and crochet needles. Tunisian Hooks, Circular Needles, Knitting Looms, Knitting Patterns and other accessories are also available.

A wide selection of local and imported materials and haberdashery is available at Toucan Material and Wool Shop in Mossel Bay. This includes curtain fabrics and lining, upholstery fabric, Dutch Lace, “Hollandse kantgordyne”, lining and block-out linings, batting, lace curtaining, Organza, Curtaining, Table cloth materials and plastic tabling, Taffeta’s, Mini-Matt, Pongee Linings, Cotton Materials, wooden beads, motifs, velgro, ribbons, buttons, zips, pins, bead fringing per meter and more.

Besides the wide range of curtaining materials Toucan also stocks the well known Papini Curtain accessories. They also have tussles, rails and rods and other accessories in stock. If we don’t have what you want, we will try to get it.
