Ways To Reduce Morning Sickness
7 September 2016 by Thandolwethu
Most females feel like throwing up (morning sickness or nausea) when pregnant. Morning sickness usually occurs during the early part of pregnancy (the first trimester) and despite being called "morning" sickness, it can occur at any time during the day. Here are a few tips to try and alleviate some of the discomfort it cause.
- Keep away from the smell of cooking food if possible.
- Avoid fried foods and foods which contain ingredients that are fatty or spicy.
- Eat a dry biscuit, a piece of bread, rice or porridge when you wake up in the morning. Starchy foods are known to reduce nausea.
- Take liquids between meals and not with meals.
Do any of these tips work for you? Or do you have any tried and tested methods which work better? Visit our Facebook page and let us know.
