ABOUT US

Former professional dancers - both classically trained - husband & wife team; Michelle Stegen Gilder and Andrew Gilder - opened their ballet studio to share their professional experience and passion with their students.

Michelle Stegen Gilder:

• Classical Ballet Distinction Graduate (Dance Teachers Diploma) from UCT School of Dance (2000)
• Former Senior Soloist with Cape Town City Ballet
• Theatre Dance Association (TDA) Registered
• Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) Certified 
• Member of the International Dance Council CID
• Principal Teacher at the studio - grooming & coaching little beginners through to adults

Andrew Gilder:

• Former Principal Dancer & Choreographer with the Playhouse Dance Company
• Climate Change Specialist running his own business: Climate Legal 
• Teaches evening Adult Ballet classes and the pre-professional students
