Purchased a whole sheep and sadly was a very bad buy. This meat is so tough and no matter how long it's cooked it doesn't tenderize. I'm not fooling myself by comparing it to lamb but this to me might be a very very old sheep or a goat perhaps. The quality of meat is very different to other butcheries quality and it's been a bad experience.
