On 2020.02.03 my son bought clothes to the value of R1049.97 from the Woodmead branch. The cashier processed the transaction twice (claiming that it did not go through the first time), resulting in a duplicate deduction from the credit card. When realising this, he drove back (an 80 km trip) to enquire about this. Carley Mokoduo promised that this will be corrected and that the moneys will be back in the account within 2 days. Needless to say this did not happen and he had to drive there again (again 80 km). This time she would not talk to him (remaining in her office) and another employee promised to fix it. Numerous mails was sent and the point has now been reached that Carley ignores us completely. She has been informed that a charge of theft/fraud will be laid at SAPS and that lawyers will be involved (which costs will be for the account of The Pro Shop) if the monies is not in the bank account by 2020.02.12. Again, the email was blatantly ignored. It would seem that The Pro Shop is in the habit of purposely and fraudulently duplicating transactions and then refusing to reverse it, creating additional costs for the client to recover the money.
