I called the store to complain only to be told that I was supposed to have eaten the pizza yesterday when I bought it and not left it for school the next day. The manager even told me there’s something wrong with my fridge because ‘they’ve never had any complaints’ which I seriously doubt. A week never goes by without us not buying pizza in the house and we always like to try different restaurants. This one is clearly struck off my list because their customer service is just as horrible as their pizza. So on Monday, 26th February around 7pm I bought the 2 medium pizzas for R135 special from Del Forno in Glenanda. They came sealed and I put them straight in the fridge. The pizzas were for school in the morning. I only packed 1 of the pizzas for lunch, the other is still sealed in my fridge. My son didn’t eat the pizza because he said it tasted funny. So I had a taste of it myself and he was right, it tasted like old overused cooking oil. I’m not saying old cooking oil was used to make the pizza, I’m just trying to describe the taste.
