This morning I checked pricing at local Spar in Voortrekker road, same product at half the price? 230 gm cheddar, Parmalat label - R23,90 against R42,90 for the same weight at Fruit & Veg? Something is wrong. I'm still waiting for Parmalat George office to call me back as promised this morning!

I can't see your business surviving if your cheddar cheese sells for R186.00/kg! I bought 230g for R42.90 = R186,20/kg! Our local cheese sells for more than a R100,00/kg less! I asked the manager of Fruit & Veg if the price is correct and he confirmed it. Needless to say, I have to warn my fellowmen of this reckless pricing on Facebook and other media if I don't get a satisfactory answer within 24 hrs! It is daylight robbery to say the least.
