ABOUT US
My Tutor and Teaching Centre is a family of learners, educators and parents committed to achieving academic excellence through personal and holistic approach to education. We assist parents by by tutoring learners from Grade 1 - 12, with the primary focus on home-schooled learners.
Our mission is to expand the heart, mind and character of each learner by providing a learning environment of support and encouragement, enabling learners to achieve their best through a rich variety of educational experiences.
We strive to develop in each learner a healthy respect for and responsibility to themselves, their peers, the community and their country.
We encourage and value individual expression and foster in each learner a genuine and lasting love for learning.
Our educators are particularly gifted at nurturing and providing a supportive and caring environment for learners. Each of us has a passion for education, children and the broaer youth of South Africa.
We believe every child has the capacity for greatness and academic excellence, and we aim to help our learners achieve their full potential.
SERVICES
The Centre provides two areas of learning to meet the needs of both the home-schoolers and learners who attend traditional schools:
1. Tutoring for home school learners
Before enrolling with the centre, learners need to be registered for a curriculum offered by a home-schooling institution.
2. Tutoring and support for all learners - not only homeschoolers
Tutors assist learners with homework, preparation for test and examinations, mapping out projects and assignments and developing effective study methods. (14h00 - 17h00)
