Motiv8 provides affordable, evidence-based self-assessments and specific corrective exercises to runners in order to reduce their injury risk and improve their running performance.
A comprehensive conditioning programme for runners should be built upon these four pillars: Flexibility, Mobility, Strength & Neuromuscular Control (NMC). We aim to assist you in building a solid foundation in these areas in order to enable you to become a strong and resilient runner.
Currently, we work with a large number of runners (from beginner to elite) many of whose injuries could easily have been prevented had the runner just done a few quick checks before setting out running. Running performance can also be hugely improved, even in injury-free runners, by correcting deficits relevant to running, or making a few simple changes to running style.
The amount of information available related to running, injury prevention and performance is endless. It can be quite an overwhelming task for an individual to try to sift through this and determine what is valuable information and what is yet another fad or gimmick.
Through Motiv8, we aim to make RESEARCH-BASED information readily available to you and assist you in improving your running performance and gaining more enjoyment from it. Our goal is to provide you with RESEARCH-BASED, STRUCTURED, SPECIFIC and AFFORDABLE exercise programmes (written by QUALIFIED and EXPERIENCED health professionals) which are easy to do, wherever you are.
