ABOUT US
MINTLANGU SPORTS FOUNDATION
Mintlangu Sports Foundation (MSF) is a not for profit organisation created to provide activities and opportunities for the youth, regardless of race, religion or economic status in our communities. MSF will design and implement sports programmes for the youth with academic and social standards that will develop them into well-rounded members of our community; and also sports professionals that are much needed by South Africa. We aim to create a robust business plan that will be made available to other communities within our country.
Our Mission
We want to enhance the lives of young people living in disadvantaged communities through sports activities that are rooted in skills development, education and inspire hard work, a winning attitude and ethical principles. Through our programmes we hope to instil discipline, knowledge, and opportunities for our children to enable them to be successful in their adult lives.
Our Vision
Our vision is to offer better training that is safe, balanced, secure and enjoyable in all respects, together with the environment in which everyone can reach and exceed individual and team objectives. Striving for these goals, we will actively encourage everyone to understand and support those in their sporting and recreational pursuit.
Our Aim
Our aim is to develop an organisation of quality and integrity that offers all of our players nationally and internationally endorsed qualifications in a flexible learning environment. We want to provide skills development that will enable our players to participate and optimise opportunities available in the sporting arena, the recreation and fitness industry.
Our Objectives
We want to be considered a centre of excellence in the field of sports, recreation, fitness education and training.
We want to be the cutting edge of the industry that we represent and serve by continually developing and delivering quality athletes.
We want to integrate non-athletic components into all programmes such as educational assistance, counselling, medical evaluation to combat drug abuse and community service.
