There is no polite way to address your mismanagement and lack of service to the 13 000 residents in Brandfort. We have no water now for 5 days. During January 2019 the power from the municipality tripped 3 times a day every single day of the month. There is no service to the community and you deprive us of out basic human rights to have running water 24 hours a day. Now you say you have a responsibility to protect your workers against the strikers.
1. If you managed the municipality as you should there would not be a strike by the residents.
2. If you pay your employees their salaries on time, there would be no strike.
3. If you paid Eskom there would be no load shedding.
4. If you remove the refuse bags as you should there would be no strike.
5. If you deliver services as you should and which you are paid for there would be no strike.
6. If the accounts to the residents were correct, there would be no strike.
7. If you did your job properly it would not be necessary for you to protect your workers against strikers.
8. What about the paying residents rights that get no service from the municipality, no water, electric surges and power outages for days on end.
We the residents lose our electric appliances as a result of these power failures and it costs us plenty money to fix. Where are you what are you doing about it. Sit in your chair and doing nothing about it but come month end you get your fat salary for doing nothing. You have a responsibility to all 13 000 residents living in Brandfort and it is time that you start manage your municipality.
