Our luxurious Self-Catering Accommodation complete with all your “home from home” comforts, including Bed and Breakfast health supplies are perched on a Koppie only 350m off the main street of the village of Prince Albert with magnificent views of the Swartberg Mountains and Karoo Plains.

If so Julie and Richard would like to invite you to share and experience their dream which they live every day in the quaint Karoo village of Prince Albert in the Great Karoo . . .

Step inside and discover tastefully decorated interiors with plenty of attention to detail, including double volume natural reed ceilings, offering 72sqm of open-plan living and sleeping with air conditioners and large Karoo log fireplaces. Spacious en-suite bathrooms, large fully equipped kitchens and private entrance with safe off street parking at your front door.

Relax and unwind after your travels with a sun downer on your private stoep or in our stone boma, which is fully equipped for braaing, whilst watching the awesome light changing as the moon rises up over the Swartberg Mountains.

We provide lots of “value adds” including, complimentary Bed and Breakfast health supplies, fresh milk and juice from Gay’s dairy, firewood, blitz and daily servicing with loads more. Rates from R395.00 pps – R545.00 pps for adults and we will welcome you for 1 night or more, as well as all children and socialised pets by prior arrangement.

Listen for the call of owls before dawn and wake to the chatter of birds as the sun shows her face and lights up the Robert Gordon Koppie. Our Karoo View House is fabulous for group bookings / families sleeping 6 + in 3 en-suite air-conditioned bedrooms, 2 of which have fireplaces, with extra capacity in each of the bedrooms & loft area. Fully equipped farm style kitchen with complimentary health breakfast provisions, air-con and fireplace. Spacious living & dining areas with TV, free unlimited wifi lead out onto 2 enormous stoeps with fantastic views as well as private pool and braai, fully stocked with firewood upon arrival.

Our private Stoep Suite, with outside entrance offers an air-conditioned en-suite bedroom, spacious lounge & dining area with beautiful double volume natural reed ceilings, mock sash windows providing beautiful views, use of boma & plunge pool.

• KANON is tastefully decorated in cool shades of white with beautiful double volume natural high reed ceilings and offers you a luxurious EL king bed or twin EL beds. The fully tiled en-suite bathroom, with his and her vanities and bath with overhead shower completes this picture as well as a comfortable standard double bed sleeper couch.
• FEROX echoes the natural beauty of the Karoo. Decorated in the natural desert shades which are complimented by the beautiful double volume natural high reed ceilings and offers you a Luxurious King EL bed or Twin EL beds. An en-suite fully tiled large bathroom with walk in shower, fold down seat, handheld shower and grab rail. Grab rail and trigger shower next to toilet and toilet seat raiser upon request. Level and easy access throughout. Wheelchair friendly.
• KRANS is tastefully decorated in sunset tones which are offset by the beautiful double volume natural high reed ceilings and offers you a luxurious king bed. The fully tiled en-suite bathroom, with his and her vanities and bath with overhead shower completes this picture.
• STRIATA echoes the boldness of the Karoo with touches of lime green which reflect the natural flora of our gardens. Adding to the luxury are the beautiful natural high reed ceilings and offers you a luxurious EL king bed or twin EL beds. An en-suite fully tiled large bathroom with walk in shower, fold down seat, handheld shower and grab rail. Grab rail and trigger shower next to toilet and toilet seat raiser upon request. Level and easy access throughout. Wheelchair friendly.

Our Karoo cottages are side by side, sharing the same magnificent Karoo View and making it convenient for families and friends travelling together:

• Kanon and Ferox have double inter-leading doors
• Krans and Striata have double inter-leading doors.

2 COTTAGES ARE WHEELCHAIR FRIENDLY and have been endorsed by Disabled Traveler and are equipped with the following:

• Easy access from parking at your front door - Cottage floors are level with no steps
• Grab rails next to the toilet as well as Toilet seat raiser and Trigger shower
• Large walk in shower with Grab rails and special fold down seat with additional hand-held shower
• Vanity shelf can be removed and Mirror can be lowered
• Ramp from inside onto front stoep.

Outdoor areas:

Each cottage has direct access into our natural indigenous gardens, allowing you to meander along clearly laid out paths whilst exploring our Karoo Koppie filled with interesting natural flora and fauna, beautiful birds, including many of God's little creatures, which of course children just love.

Our natural stone boma with large braai area is fully equipped with braai grids, tongs, firewood and blitz, all replenished daily, so you need not bring any of these with you. There are also 3 private braai areas for those who wish to be private, which are also fully equipped.

Our stone plunge pool, with pool lounger and umbrellas, is perfect for cooling off at the end your Karoo day.

For your convenience we also offer the following:

Our Karoo View House offers you 3 Spacious en-suite bedrooms sleeping 6, with extra capacity in each of the bedrooms & loft area.

• Sleeps 2 - additional single beds may be added if required due to spaciousness and loft area
• Choice of either 2 single El beds or King EL bed with sitting area in front of log fireplace including air-con with remote heating & cooling
• En-suite bathroom with shower and leads onto spacious stoep. 

Bedroom No 3:

• Our Stoep Suite is 50sqm and is self-contained, sleeping either 2 or 3 in an open plan en-suite bedroom with:
• Private outside entrance offering a spacious en-suite bedroom with double bed & single bed, vanity with hair dryer including air-con with remote heating & cooling
• En-suite fully tiled bathroom with walk-in shower and bath
• Including 50sqm south facing enclosed stoep, with lounge and dining areas and large sliding glass windows with magical views overlooking the village of Prince Albert and the Swartberg – same views as cottages
• Fully equipped self-catering Kitchenette with fridge and freezer, microwave, mini oven, single plate induction cooker, coffee plunger, toaster, egg boiler, Wok, Cobb cooker, Webber braai, crockery, cutlery, glassware, pots and pans, braai grids and tongs

As this suite has own private entrance using the South Stoep it may also be booked on its own, however does not have access to swimming pool or braai area on the North stoep, but has own braai facilities and use of Boma, braai and Plunge pool.

North Stoep:

• Measures 50sqm, overlooks the natural Karoo plains for 100km’s, built-in braai, bar area, pool, enclosed private garden, dining area & lounge area.
• Parking is safe, off street and undercover close to the house.
• Property is fully fenced and the house has an alarm with 24 hour armed response

Pick your own fresh veggies and herbs with our compliments from our organic tunnel and scented garden, as nothing beats "the fresh and fragrant" taste and smell of ‘freshly picked’ straight from the garden, also a delight for the kiddies.

Pre-order a Braai Basket including your choice of Karoo Lamb chops, Chicken pieces, Pork chops and or Karoo Wors, like no other. We also include home baked bread, potatoes and onions in foil, farm butter, salad dressing, assorted seasonings and various fresh herbs. For your convenience the following is already stocked in your kitchen; Salt, Pepper, Spray n cook and therefore you need only bring your refreshments.
