Ireland Davenport Group appointed To Manage the Iconic Isuzu Brand

As of 01 November 2015, the Ireland Davenport Group will be responsible for all Isuzu strategy and brand marketing initiatives, product marketing, digital marketing, customer relationship management and retail advertising.

Brian Olson, Vice President of Vehicle Sales, Service and Marketing for GM Sub-Saharan Africa said Ireland Davenport Group has a well-established track record in the industry. “Ireland Davenport demonstrated an innate understanding of the Isuzu brand and the business objectives that need to be achieved both through the strategic recommendation and creative communication solutions presented during the pitch process. We believe that their high-spirited approach, experience and agility will enable Isuzu to further strengthen the brand in our market.

“We are injecting a lot of energy and focus into the Isuzu brand which recently benefited from the roll-out of an enhanced and expanded line-up of Isuzu KB bakkies to the range.”

Olson further said they are in a good position to further grow the Isuzu brand through the combination of great products supported by the implementation of focused brand building strategies.

Sue Napier, Managing Director of The Ireland Davenport Group said the company could not be more proud to be appointed on the Isuzu account.

“To be appointed on one of South Africa’s most iconic motor vehicle brands and particularly taking into consideration that we will be responsible for the through the line delivery of communication, reflects the tenacity, depth of experience, capability and entrepreneurial spirit upon which our agency has been built.

Carat will continue to manage media strategy & placement for the Chevrolet, Opel & Isuzu brands in South Africa while Admakers will continue to handle all Chevrolet, Opel & Isuzu dealer advertising.
