Intshayelelo is one of the best primary schools found in Khayelitsha. Teachers are dedicated and passionate about their work. The school offers high quality education. For learning to be effective it needs to be reinforced. The school has a well developed school library, appealing science and computer lab that helps the school to develop constructors of knowledge not producers of knowledge. In 2016 three learners from grade 4-6 made to Grow Smart final Science competition. In 2017 two learners a grade 5 and 6 also were in the finales of Grow Smart story writing competition. Teachers are confident and self assured that they do their best to help learners learn and take pride in their work .
