Situated within the breathtaking iSimangaliso Wetland Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, our lodge offers a serene escape where you can immerse yourself in nature's beauty.

Located just outside the vibrant town of St Lucia, Ingwenya Lodge provides easy access to the wonders of the surrounding area. From the lodge, guests can enjoy stunning views of the sea and the estuary, providing the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway.

At Ingwenya Lodge, you can experience the peaceful atmosphere of the wetland park, where wildlife roams freely and the sounds of nature surround you. Keep an eye out for hippos grazing on the front lawn at night and watch for small game that often wanders through the lodge grounds.

Our six self-catering units are named after the rivers that feed into the St Lucia estuary, including Mpate, Nyalazi, Hluhluwe, Mzinene, Mkuze, and Mfolozi. Each unit is fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay, ensuring a hassle-free and memorable experience for you and your family.
