I have been on many flights before and I have even been lucky enough to be on both the Shosoloza Meyl and the Blue Train, but I have never before been on a long distance bus ride. So when my car suddenly broke down and I had to get to Johannesburg in a rush, my mother told me to book a ticket on the Greyhound bus. I have never fancied the idea of travelling on a bust for so long, but I had very little choice in the matter so I went online and booked my tickets for the trip. First time taking a bus for a holiday trip and I must say WOW! The bus was so smart and the staff on the bus are so friendly and helpful. Extremely comfortable seating and the bus kept so clean. The stewards on the bus are so nice and helpful. They make you feel comfortable and at ease all the way, even bringing you a pillow and blanker when you want to sleep. We were served delicious lunch and snacks on the bus and the movies were tops. I will definitely take the Greyhound bus anytime again. Was well worth the money and the long trip.
