I'm quite disappointed, in fact very annoyed. On Sunday 28th September 2019 I was looking for specific shoes and the Southgate branch didn't have, and they promised to get me the shoes and size I was looking for at Carlton Centre in Jhb central. On Friday 4th October I called in the morning to enquire and I was told my shoes are in store I can collect them, I asked why I was not informed that they are now available, the lady said they only arrived on Thursday and they were going to send an sms. That afternoon I went to the shop to collect only to be told there was a mistake the shoes have in fact not arrived yet. I was upset and I demanded my money back because I have fully paid for them. They called the Vereeniging branch which confirmed that they have the shoes and size. Tuesday 8th October I got an sms that the shoes were now in store I can come in to collect, I was delayed by traffic and went on Wednesday to collect, guess what? I was told sorry the shoes are not in store. I asked about the SMS and nobody knew why and how I got the SMS. I was extremely annoyed, I wasted my time and money only to be told they have not arrived. I flipped and this time I told the ladies I am not leaving the store without my money, clearly I'm being treated like an idiot. They told me about EFT transfer I didn't want to hear that because I paid cash, I didn't even swipe and I'm told money will be transferred. My question was simple, who will pay for the bank charges if my money is paid through the bank. Why are they not able to open the till and give me my money back. As I'm writing this message I have not heard from them, and I am totally disgusted and disappointed to be disrespected in that way. This is the shoe shop I always recommend but after this experience, I doubt. I want to know what will happen to my money if they cannot get the shoe I wanted, and again I will not appreciate receiving my refund through EFT cause the bank will have charges which will be incurred by me and I don't think it is fair.
