I was completely gobsmacked to learn that Dr Govender's caring manners also extended into my home. Not only is she a doctor but also a Hare Krsna devotee adhering to the 4 regulative principles

Seeking medical attention while visiting Hibberdene my initial nervousness as the only white person in Dr Govender's busy surgery was dispelled by the efficiency of the staff and friendliness of the waiting patients. When my turn came Dr Govender quickly and accurately determined that no treatment was required. As she refused to charge me a consultation fee I have donated an equivalent sum to the South Coast Hospice.
