My name is Miss NM Mafu. My experience started on 18 July 2017 when I went to Exact at Govan Mbeki Street and I made a lay-bye of R1030. I left R600 then got told my balance was R430. The lay-bye was for my mother and since I was there making it alone I decided on 19 July 2017 to bring my mother with me to try and fit the clothes including taking out the lay-bye. But to my surprise and shock I was treated like I am a stupid fool. I told the teller that I was there to take out a lay-bye I made the day before. A rude woman attended to us and I quickly said I wanted to let my mom do some fittings of the clothes so that I can even take it out and return some or exchange the ones that don't fit beecause I could see in their faces that I was speaking in riddles. The lady told me we can't because the system has not activated the lay-bye or something like that, and I cannot get the lay-bye and I might as well leave and come back tomorrow. I went out of the store confused but my mother was so shocked because they even laughed at us whilst we were leaving. I went to Foschini, because I did the same lay-bye there and to my surprise my lay-bye from Exact was showing on their system. That was when I got furious and I went back to Exact and asked them to cancel the lay-bye. Even then the cashier gave me attitude, called up another lady whilst I was in front of her and carried on assisting another customer and totally ignored me. I was told that I was gonna be charged for the cancellation of the lay-bye. I went there to collect a lay-bye was told I can't so I demanded all of my deposit back. I am just angry about the horrible treatment I got there and as a client of Foschini I am so disappointed with the store's treatment. Would definitely wait for the reply thank you.My name is Miss NM Mafu. My experience started on 18 July 2017 when I went to Exact at Govan Mbeki Street and I made a lay-bye of R1030.
