I claimed for a broken item (as usual) in transit (invoice number 4968, dated 24/03/22) for R3865.50 and they only paid out R2860.01 because they say that I owe them the difference between my claim amount and "outstanding amounts". The problem is that they cannot send me any documents for the "outstanding amount", they cannot prove anything because they don't know where this amount comes from. My telephone calls get recorded and they themselves say clearly that they can't balance their books and I must pay. This happened practically EVERY MONTH, and every month we correct them because of their inept staff.
Last time EPX couriers took MORE THAN A YEAR TO SETTLE MY CLAIM FOR A PARCEL THAT THEY DESTROYED.
This is totally unacceptable and I would recommend that customers avoid EPX totally and make use of other couriers.
STAY AWAY FROM EPX COURIERS!!I have been using EPX for a while but cannot take their inefficiency, lack of basic knowledge of simple bookkeeping and breaking of parcels in transit any more. I have been in business for more than 34 years and the bad, bad, bad service from EPX couriers made me change couriers.
