I'm Johannes (Johan) Smit and I'm very proud that my 4 brothers, my sister and I went to Dirk Boshoff Primary School. My time at DB was from 1976 till 1983. I can tell that it was one of the most discipline schools. I still have sweet memories of DB and will cherise it forever. I'm also proud to tell that I was the shool's best 100m athlete in my age group, through out my Primary School Career. One of the School's Highlights was Athletics Seasons and Rugby Seasons. It was such a pleasure to travel to the Langkloof area during those Sport Seasons. And Monday mornings devotions was not optional at DB, but compulsory. Nobody would dare to be late for school (Educators and learners), because of Mr Witbooi's strict discipline. May the staff and learners of DB grow from strength to strength and reach their highest potential in life. Nobody can limit you but yourself; so spread your wings and fly!!!
