Please may I heap praise upon you? As one of the many whose visa application has been swallowed in the dark maw of Home Affairs in Pretoria, I now have to leave for the UK.
Meanwhile for 90 days you've kept me informed, kept me company. Thank you. When I arrived and heard 'Good morning, Cape Town', it brought a little tearto my eye. (I used to live here).
Lovely to wake to Africa M's dulcet tones - what exquisite enunciation - and slowly I've got the hang of John M, to the point of, hm, affection.
Only downside is Saturdays, when you claim to play All The Hits (but they're not all hits, are they?) and, as you are Cape Talk, I'd personally prefer talk, as there is music everywhere else. Interviews from anywhere in the world, maybe. But that's me.
The Magic Bus is excepted, with lots of talk and info. between tracks.
Reluctantly I'm signing off, and look forward to next time,
