These people cover there number plates while their vehicles are used on public roads with stickers carrying the company name. It now is an "acceptable" trend with funeral houses, and it is wrong. Of all the places on the whole vehicle where they can put this stickers they choose to be against Regulation 35 of the National Road Traffic act that specifically prohibits any number plate to be covered for any reason. It must always be visible. Both rear and front.
Why are law enforcement authorities not doing anything? This is a trade mark for hijackers to cover or remove number plates before committing crimes.
Also this is a very bad reflection on your business as a company who does not valuate and completely to the countries Law.
This matter will be taken further and brought under the attention of the right people in Law enforcement positions.
Can you show me ANY legislation to prove me wrong that give you permission to willingly hide your registration plates on your company's as well as your private vehicles?
It is even alleged that these funeral operators now are also putting sirens in their vehicles.
Remember, this is not specified emergency vehicle according to the National Act.
Start setting an example of a law abiding company rather than dodgy and wilfully breaking the Laws of our country. It has become a normality for funeral business to deliberately break laws. No respect or discipline shown towards legislation.
