Bodycurvez is a family business established in July 2011 by Rosalind & Jonathan Mason in the popular tourist resort of Plettenberg Bay.

Rosalind is a fully trained nurse with many years’ experience in patient health care and is able to offer considerable insights into painless, non-invasive, non-surgical procedures for weight loss and body contouring.

How it works:

The Bodycurves CAVI-vac RFL4 uses cutting-edge technology, intelligently combined for patient outcomes and practice efficiencies in medical aesthetics.

The “cavitation” effect controls the even distribution of energy to the fatty tissue of the treatment area, without affecting other body parts, blood vessels or surrounding tissue. The focused ultrasound energy waves create micro-air bubbles around lipocyte membranes, causing them to break up, thus emulsifying the fat which is naturally drained by the lymphatic system and then metabolised out of the body.

Skin above the treatment area is then treated with 10 MHz radio frequency to alternate the electrical field in the skin from positive to negative. This produces the heat under the dermis which stimulates collagen regeneration, and a smoother, younger skin tone.
