ABOUT US

We’re a small agency. But we’re all about big thinking. In fact, we don’t let anything restrict our creativity – not media channels, not budgets, not deadlines and definitely not our size. We’ve seen our ideas grow from our studio in downtown Joburg and weave their way into dinner table conversations, Sunday newspapers, TV shows, blogs, Stephen Fry’s twitter feed, CNN Africa, onto the radar of Ellen DeGeneres and a company that advertises at the Super Bowl.

Our work’s been going viral before ‘going viral’ was even a thing, with our Nando’s ‘Dictators’ commercial getting a combined 2 million views on YouTube and our ‘Diversity’ commercial reaching almost 2 million views as well. You see, at Black River F.C., we aim to create work that is not only remarkable, but worth remarking about.
