It is with concern I see on social media that Laerskool Albertyn are hosting Mclaren circus. They make use of wild animals held captive in cells no larger than a small bathroom. I have seen that your school supports the SPCA as well and by allowing the circus to use your property is a direct contradiction. Scholars should at an early stage in their lives be taught that wild animals do NOT belong in captivity. Please reconsider your stance and assist in banning animals in circuses in our country.

It is with great disappointment that I have heard that you are allowing a circus that uses wild animals for entertainment to utilise your grounds. What message are you passing on to your students? As an institution of learning, it is absolutely unacceptable that the message you are teaching is that it is okay to treat animals in this manner. You should be ashamed of yourselves.
