My mom has just been harrased by Sister Xulu who forcefully wrote a transfer letter to another clinic sighting that my mom won't have to come to Alberton must instead use the money she use to get to the clinic to buy nutritional food as she shouted at mom saying she eats poor food.
She went on to say she can't help mom as mom goes to a Doctor and also comes to the clinic.
She made mom to wait 2H25min just to spite her to cancel the transfer that she had imposed on her clinic card.

2019 service is poor, I used to be happy with the sister who is assisting with the babies , she used to come early that gave us time to go to work. We queued at 6 in the morning but get service at 9. I kindly requested that the section for the babies start early because kids get cold outside at the same time irritated. 7:30 worked well for most parent and the was no long queue.
I have been a patient there for about 3 months, I go there for Ante-Natal Care seeing as I am pregnant.
My last visit on 08/06/2021 - we were only 9 or 10 pregnant ladies to be seen.
Yet, we all sat there for nearly 9 hours to be seen???
this not poor this is a lack of communication and competence, as adequate staff to attend to us were not available. so we are not getting the proper care and treatment nor are we properly checked out when seen.
I have proof hereof. Clinic Maternity Records are not properly completed. The notes provided are inaccurate - no health talks are given, no questions asked and also no time allowed to address concerns regarding your pregnancy.
When ever it is your consultation time, best believe it will be interrupted. it is open sesame for anyone to just walk in and converse with the sister, whether it be important or not - my privacy is violated. (so from the non-serious attitude and casual conversation- usually it is not important)
The following day in the Alberton Record I read an article about another citizen whom wrote about her parents experience, i almost feel like i recall seeing this elderly couple there on my last visit. The husband in a wheel chair accompanied by his wife. left in the cold freezing weather until after 14h00 if I am not mistaken, I recall staff being very rude, arrogant and hostile toward these elderly people. I was there thinking to myself; how sad and horrific is it that it has become okay to treat people badly like this - as though they were animals.
We all understand the strain that our frontline and our health care professionals are taking - but let's be realistic and not try to punish the one's in need of care and medical assistance. We are not to blame for the shortages and we are also not at the clinic's by 07h00 in the morning for the fun and games, nor for the bullying and rudeness and abuse that goes on inside. Spite won't fix the government and spite won't lessen the number of sick patients that show up every day MON-FRI at your clinic.
Firstly, there is no way in which one can successfully re-schedule an appointment. Telephones rings and ring non-stop without answer. Then at certain times- there's just an engaged tone.
